Flumen - International Festival of Urban Theatre and New Circus

The 2025 edition of Flumen took place in Jesi from July 9th to 11th, once again transforming streets, parks, and squares into spaces of urban poetry and performance.

The first day kicked off at Piazzale dei Partigiani with circus workshops open to all in the afternoon, followed in the evening by an opening performance featuring juggling, comedy, and acrobatics. The second day offered an itinerant route through three "natural arenas" connected by cycle paths – the public gardens, Largo Salvador Allende, and Parco del Vallato – with unicycling, aerial acts, and clowning. The closing evening brought a true artistic explosion to the historic centre, with twelve performances by international contemporary circus companies spread across six squares, from 7:00 PM until midnight.

As always, all events were free admission and suitable for all ages, confirming the festival's participatory and community-oriented spirit.
