The historic center in bloom
"Fiori a Mirano" is the large exhibition-market dedicated to floriculture that every April 25th transforms Piazza Martiri della Libertà and the streets of the historic center of Mirano, in the province of Venice. Over 120 exhibitors selected from all over Italy offer nurseries specializing in roses and plants, green professionals, outdoor furniture, and seasonal products.
Competitions, workshops, and music
The day comes alive with its competitions — "Shop Windows in Bloom", "Best Exhibitor", and "Best Garden" — alongside music in the square and watercolor workshops for children in the Barchessa of Villa Errera. A program that combines market, green culture, and entertainment, suitable for families and gardening enthusiasts.
Homage to the rose and the Bocolo
Falling on April 25th, the event pays homage to the rose and the Venetian Festa del Bocolo, the tradition where on this day lovers exchange a red rosebud. Fiori a Mirano is organized by Pro Loco Mirano with the Municipality and the "8 Marzo – K. Lorenz" Institute.

The XLVI edition of "Fiori a Mirano" takes place on Saturday, April 25, 2026, in Piazza Martiri and the streets of the historic center. Over 120 selected exhibitors offer roses, plants, garden furniture, and seasonal products, with the guiding theme of the rose, in homage to the Venetian Festa del Bocolo.
The day features the "Shop Windows in Bloom", "Best Exhibitor", and "Best Garden" competitions, watercolor workshops for children at the Barchessa of Villa Errera, and live music in the square in the afternoon.

How to get there
Mirano (VE) is reachable by car from the A4 motorway (Dolo-Mirano exit) and by bus from the interurban lines from Venice and Padua. The exhibition-market takes place in Piazza Martiri and the streets of the historic center.
Opening hours
The day opens at 9 am with the competitions and continues until the evening; the workshops for children at Villa Errera are held in the morning and afternoon.
