Flower, Small Animal and Typical Piedmontese Products Festival

On May 1st, 2025, Borgata Baraccone in Castagnito hosted the 27th Flower and Small Animal Festival, recording a large turnout favored by the beautiful weather. The fair offered garden flowers and plants, small animals, agricultural equipment, local food and wine products, traditional friciule, and Roero wines.

The musical program included a concert by young musicians from local schools, the Musica in Fiore initiative with songs from around the world by the CEM (Centro Esperienze Musicali), and Musica in Movimento with the Agricoli Band and guest Gabriella Bonino, a finalist on Io Canto Senior 2025. The inauguration was attended by Castagnito Mayor Giulio Cortese, Regional Council Vice President Franco Graglia, numerous mayors from the Roero area, and the La Montatese Marching Band. The event was presided over by Paolo Mina, president of the organizing committee.
