Flower Festival of Corpus Domini in Fiumalbo

On Sunday, June 22, 2025, the historic center of Fiumalbo was covered with the floral carpets of the Flower Festival of Corpus Domini. The depictions for the 2025 edition were inspired by the liturgical feasts of the year and local devotions: from the Blessed Virgin Mary Assumed to Palm Sunday, from Easter to Saint Bartholomew (the village patron saint), from the Nativity to Our Lady of the Snows, to Saint Michael and Candlemas.

The artwork dedicated to Corpus Domini was created on the pavement of Piazza Umberto I based on a design by Gianluca Biondi. The group of flower artists from Fiumalbo, coordinated by Dario Brugioni, Eugenio Ballantini, and Fabrizio Brugioni, created the works to perfection, using only flowers gathered from the area surrounding the village.
