Flower Carpet Festival of Corpus Domini

The 33rd edition of the Flower Carpet Festival of Corpus Domini in Castelraimondo was held from June 19 to 22, 2025, on the theme "Spes non confundit" ("Hope does not disappoint"), the motto with which the Jubilee 2025 was proclaimed.

21 floral paintings were created by local associations and groups, using quintals of fresh spring flowers, broom, natural essences, and over 100,000 carnations to form a multicolored carpet of more than 1,000 square meters. The event opened on Thursday, June 19, with the ritual of cutting flowers in Piazza Dante and a concert by the "Ugo Bottacchiari" Brass Band. Between Saturday and Sunday, musical performances alternated — from a tribute to Lucio Battisti with Cesare Bocci to a tribute to 883 — workshops open to the public, and the solemn Corpus Domini procession on Sunday, June 22, which passed over the flower carpets in the historic center.
