Edition 2025 — Rossomandi Competition

The 25th edition of the Florestano Rossomandi International Competition took place from May 16 to 18, 2025, in the Bovino Town Hall Council Chamber. Three days of auditions across sixteen categories for soloists, choirs, orchestras, and chamber ensembles from Italy and abroad, culminating on May 18 in the winners' concert artistically directed by pianist Rosaria Dina Rizzo.

The 25th edition

For its twenty-fifth anniversary, the Rossomandi Competition brought together young musicians of all ages in Bovino from May 16 to 18, 2025, in the Town Hall Council Chamber, Piazza Municipio. The competition, organized by the Academia Vibinensis with the Municipality of Bovino and the Pro Loco, featured sixteen categories: piano, strings, winds, harp, guitar, percussion, accordion, opera and modern singing, piano four-hands, chamber music, piano performance, choirs, middle school music programs, music high schools, and mixed orchestras.

The drawing of the performance order opened the trials on May 16; auditions continued over the following days, while the May 18 winners' concert closed the event with performances by the top prize winners. The best performers were awarded concert opportunities in Lucera, Ordona, Assisi, and Genoa.
