Edition 2025 — Flight of the Dove

The 2025 edition of the Flight of the Dove took place on Sunday, May 25, 2025, starting at 9:00 PM in Piazza San Bernardino in Canale. A flaming artificial dove slid along the cable stretched across the square, accompanied by fireworks, lights, and music, ending in a final explosion of sparks. The edition featured some innovations compared to the past, confirming it as one of the most evocative rites of the Roero.

Flight of the Dove 2025

The 2025 edition of the Flight of the Dove was held on Sunday, May 25, 2025, from 9:00 PM in Piazza San Bernardino in Canale, in the Province of Cuneo. The traditional pyrotechnic rite, organized by the Municipality of Canale, the Peach Fair Board, and the Confraternity Onlus, saw the artificial dove slide along the cable stretched across the square amidst fireworks, lights, and music, with the spectacular final explosion. The edition, received with great participation, proposed some new features compared to previous years, reaffirming the identity value of this ancient Canale tradition in the Piedmontese Roero.
