Flavours of the Aventino & Surroundings

The evening of July 5, 2025 brought a journey through the flavors of Abruzzo to Casoli, with food stalls set up from 7:30 PM along Corso Umberto I. The Pro Loco Casulae, with the support of the Municipality of Casoli, showcased traditional local products through special menus, accompanying the festival with musical entertainment. In the Municipal Cinema Theater, an exhibition was set up dedicated to the history of the German occupation in the Aventino Valley (1943-1944) and the birth of the Maiella Brigade, a partisan formation that is a symbol of resistance and freedom. An event that combined taste, culture, and memory in the heart of the Chieti village.
