Edition 2025 — Flavors of the Ancient Village

The 15th edition of Flavors of the Ancient Village was held on October 25 and 26, 2025, in Castelmenardo, a medieval hamlet of Borgorose (RI). Two days dedicated to the typical flavors of the Salto Valley, with tastings in the village cellars, live music, and, for the first time, the Medieval Joust. Free admission.

15th edition — October 25 and 26, 2025

The fifteenth edition brought the village of Castelmenardo to life on Saturday, October 25 (from 6:00 PM) and Sunday, October 26, 2025, with the traditional route through the cellars and typical products of the Rieti territory. On Saturday evening, starting at 8:00 PM, the Trio99 performed with violin, accordion, and guitar; on Sunday afternoon, from 2:00 PM in Piazza della Taverna, the stage was set for the Rino Gaetano Band tribute with Alessandro Gaetano.

An absolute novelty of the year was the Medieval Joust, featuring archery, weapon duels, and historical role-playing games for adults and children, present on both days. Free admission.
