Edition 2025 — Fish Festival

The 2025 edition of the Fish Festival took place on September 6 and 7, 2025, in Piazza Terrazza dei Due Mari in Portopalo di Capo Passero. Organized by the Gli Amici di Portopalo Association with the patronage of the Municipality and the collaboration of Acqua Azzurra, it featured two evenings of seafood gastronomy, music, and entertainment starting at 7:00 PM.

Fish Festival 2025

On September 6 and 7, 2025, from 7:00 PM, Piazza Terrazza dei Due Mari hosted the traditional Fish Festival of Portopalo di Capo Passero. The event, organized by the Gli Amici di Portopalo Association with the patronage of the Municipality and the collaboration of Acqua Azzurra, celebrated the fresh catch of the local fleet.

The menu for the two evenings included tuna pasta, grilled swordfish, anchovy meatballs, and fried calamari and shrimp, along with tomato salad, seasonal fruit, and wine. Both evenings were enlivened by music, dancing, and performances, confirming the festival as one of the most beloved events of the Portopalo summer.

  • Saturday, September 6 — from 7:00 PM: opening of the food stalls in Piazza Terrazza dei Due Mari, with music, dancing, and performances.
  • Sunday, September 7 — from 7:00 PM: second evening of fish-based tastings, musical entertainment, and performances.

Dishes offered: tuna pasta, grilled swordfish, anchovy meatballs, fried calamari and shrimp, tomato salad, seasonal fruit, and wine.
