Edition 2025 — Fish Dinner

In 2025, the path leading to the Pratiglione Fish Dinner began: the new Pro Loco Tourist Association was established at the end of the year, with Fausto Leonardi as president, to enliven the life of the Canavese village with festivals, fairs, and convivial events. It was in this context that the idea for the seaside evening matured, later realized in 2026 at the Riccardo Genisio multi-purpose hall.

The origins of the Fish Dinner

2025 marks the birth year of the Pro Loco of Pratiglione, a small town in the Canavese area in the province of Turin, in Piedmont. The new association, chaired by Fausto Leonardi, aims to revitalize the village's community life through a calendar of initiatives: from Carnival to the patronal feast of Saint Nicholas the Bishop, to gastronomic evenings.

It is in this climate of renewal that the idea of a seaside-themed dinner matured, capable of bringing the flavors and atmosphere of the coast to the Canavese hills. The project materialized the following year, giving life to the first Fish Dinner at the Riccardo Genisio multi-purpose hall.
