2025 Edition
In 2025, the appointment with the fireflies of the Bosco di Sant'Antuono in Mottola was concentrated in the window between May 28 and June 4, with guided evening excursions organized in collaboration with WWF Trulli e Gravine and the Mottola Infopoint. The route started from the Monte Sant'Elia area and led participants to discover the summer ecosystem and the life of nocturnal animals, with the return illuminated by flashlights and the starry sky, accompanied by the call of scops owls.
The participation fee, which included a contribution to WWF conservation activities, was about 15 euros for adults and 6 euros for children. Alongside the official outings, various hiking sections, such as the CAI of Gioia del Colle, organized walks dedicated to the phenomenon in May and June 2025, confirming the growing appeal of this naturalistic event in the Taranto hinterland.
