Fire Rituals – Le Fanòle de Sanda Lecéje

Le Fanòle 2025

The 2025 edition of Fire Rituals – Le Fanòle de Sanda Lecéje was held in Ruvo di Puglia on December 13 and 14, 2025, promoted by the local Pro Loco. On Saturday the 13th, the historic center hosted artisan stalls and local produce markets in Piazza Cavallotti starting at 5:30 PM; at 6:00 PM, the community bonfire was lit in Piazza Matteotti, followed at 6:30 PM by the Saint Lucy procession and the blessing of the fire. In the evening, at 8:30 PM, the concert by the group Tinti Taranta brought the rhythms of Southern folk music to the square.

On Sunday, December 14th, the festival continued with the refined jazz of New Apulian Wave at 11:30 AM and the evening finale at 8:30 PM, entrusted to the ensemble Triada Dimitokos. During both days, guided tours of underground Ruvo and the monuments of the historic center were offered, accompanied by fried chickpeas, bruschetta, and traditional Murgia wine.
