Fiorone Festival 2025
The twentieth edition of the Fiorone Festival took place on June 7 and 8, 2025 in Piazza XX Settembre in Pezze di Greco, a village of Fasano (BR), organized by the Pro Loco Ulivo Vivo with the patronage of the Puglia Region and the Municipality of Fasano.
On Saturday, June 7, at 7:00 PM, the GAL of the Valle d'Itria hosted a conference on the biodiversity of figs as an opportunity for landscape regeneration, followed by the presentation of fioroni for the Franco Semeraro Prize. The stalls offered specialties based on fiorone, such as fiorone ice cream and pizza. On Sunday, June 8, from 6:00 PM, the sales stalls opened, followed at 8:00 PM by a pizzica workshop led by Fabrizio Nigro, and at 9:00 PM by the evocative historical re-enactment of June 2, 1678, with the arrival in the square of the statues from the Sanctuary of the Madonna di Pozzo Faceto.
