Edition 2025 — Film Circle Festival

The 2025 edition of the Film Circle Festival took place from October 24 to 26 at the Cinema Lux in Messina. Promoted by the Cineforum Orione with the support of the Sicilia Film Commission and in collaboration with FICC and FICC Sicilia, it featured documentaries, auteur works, and screenings of major titles, including the presentation of the Cineforum Orione Lifetime Achievement Award to director Roberto Andò and the presence of Aurelio Grimaldi and Valerio Ciriaci.

From October 24 to 26, 2025, the Cinema Lux in Messina hosted the Film Circle Festival, promoted by the Cineforum Orione in collaboration with FICC and FICC Sicilia.

The festival opened on Friday the 24th with the documentary "Elvira Notari. Oltre il silenzio" by Valerio Ciriaci and "Raqmar" by Aurelio Grimaldi, in the presence of the director. On Saturday the 25th, following the FICC assembly and the trade exhibition, the Cineforum Orione Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony was held for director Roberto Andò, moderated by artistic director Marco Olivieri, followed by the screening of "Ferdinando Scianna - Il fotografo nell'ombra". On Sunday the 26th, with the FICC Sicilia assembly, the films "Il mio cammino", "Mimo - Portrait of a modern mime", and "La voce di Hind Rajab" by Kaouther Ben Hania, Silver Lion winner at the Venice Film Festival, were screened.

Friday, October 24: 6:30 PM "Elvira Notari. Oltre il silenzio" (Valerio Ciriaci); 9:00 PM "Raqmar" (Aurelio Grimaldi). Saturday, October 25: FICC assembly and trade exhibition; 5:30 PM "Un poeta"; 8:00 PM Cineforum Orione Lifetime Achievement Award to Roberto Andò, followed by "Ferdinando Scianna - Il fotografo nell'ombra". Sunday, October 26: 10:00 AM FICC Sicilia assembly; 4:30 PM "Il mio cammino"; 6:30 PM "Mimo - Portrait of a modern mime"; 9:00 PM "La voce di Hind Rajab" (Kaouther Ben Hania).
