Filinona Festival 2025: the fifth edition

The fifth edition of the Filinona Festival brought Scicli to life from August to October 2025 with eighteen music and performing arts events. The inauguration, on August 1st, combined a street circus performance by Alex Russo in the historic center with a concert by the Luogocomune Orchestra, performing Johann Sebastian Bach's Brandenburg Concertos in the Church of the Consolazione.

The program spanned classical music, jazz, tango, and contemporary works, featuring European-renowned artists and young talents from Sicilian conservatories, hosted at Palazzo Spadaro, the Church of Santa Teresa, the Cine-teatro Italia, and other iconic city locations. Confirming its role within the UNESCO Network of Val di Noto Festivals, the 2025 edition reinforced the festival's vocation to combine artistic quality with the promotion of Scicli's Baroque heritage, in the Municipality of Scicli, in the province of Ragusa.
