Fig Festival

The 49th edition of the Fig Festival in Bacchereto was held in September 2025, from the 5th to the 7th and from the 10th to the 14th, confirming its status as one of the most beloved events in the Carmignano (Prato) area. The Polisportiva stands offered the great classics of peasant cuisine, from penne with figs to wild boar rigatoni and hare pappardelle, alongside the absolute star: the Carmignano dried fig, a Slow Food Presidium.

The program combined gastronomy and culture, with shows, music, and markets for everyone, exhibitions of antique majolica on the weekend, guided tours of the Church of Santa Maria Assunta, and archery demonstrations, in a festive atmosphere among the Montalbano hills.
