Ficarazzi Carnival 2025

The 2025 edition of the Ficarazzi Carnival was held on March 3 and 4, 2025, organized by the Municipality of Ficarazzi as part of the "Vivi Ficarazzi" initiative and in collaboration with local schools.

The first day featured the youngest children from preschool and the first years of primary school; the second day was dedicated to older students. Accompanied by an allegorical float, jugglers, and stilt walkers, the children paraded along Corso Umberto I in an atmosphere of celebration and sharing, concluding in Piazza Giovanni Paolo II.

The costumes, made with diverse materials such as fabric, papier-mâché, and foam rubber, were inspired by themes of great educational importance: environmental sustainability, respect for nature, and healthy eating, with themed disguises representing fruits, vegetables, and seafood. The festival closed with entertainment and a tasting of chiacchiere, the typical Carnival sweet.
