Cycling through the Berici Hills

The FIAB cycling excursion "Lonigo and the Berici Hills" is a cycle tourism outing organized by FIAB Vicenza Tuttinbici APS, the association that promotes cycling mobility in the Vicenza area. The starting point is the Duomo of Lonigo, in the province of Vicenza, from which a loop of about 60 km with 550 meters of elevation gain, of medium difficulty, begins.

An itinerary through history and landscape

The route alternates the reliefs of the Berici Hills with the plains of the Lower Vicenza area. Among the most suggestive stops are Vincenzo Scamozzi's Rocca Pisana, the Liona Valley with a visit to the Museum of Rural Civilization in Grancona, the villages of Villaga, Barbarano, Sossano, and Campiglia with Villa Repeta, up to the Berica Riviera and the return along the bank of the Guà river. A slow journey that combines nature, Venetian villas, and rural tradition.

Open to all

The outing is designed for a wide audience: trekking bikes, gravel bikes, and e-bikes are suitable (road bikes are excluded). More than a performance, it is an opportunity to discover the territory in company, with the convivial pace typical of FIAB initiatives.
