Edition 2025 — Saint Roch Festival in Lesina

From August 14 to 17, 2025, Lesina celebrated Saint Roch with four days of festivities blending faith, music, and fireworks. The festivities opened with Dance Tarantella; on August 16, the saint's day, religious celebrations included the statue procession, followed by an evening with Georgia Mos and comedian Leonardo Manera from Zelig; the grand finale on the 17th featured the Nostalgia 90 party and a spectacular fireworks display on the waterfront.

The 2025 Saint Roch Festival in Lesina

The 2025 edition of the Festivities in Honor of Saint Roch took place in Lesina, in the province of Foggia, from August 14 to 17, combining popular devotion with grand entertainment as per tradition. The festival kicked off on Thursday, August 14 with Dance Tarantella, featuring the overwhelming rhythms of Southern music.

The highlight was Saturday, August 16, the day of Saint Roch, with religious celebrations, holy mass, and the procession of the statue through the town streets, followed in the evening by entertainment with a DJ set by Georgia Mos and the comedy of Leonardo Manera, a well-known face from Zelig. That same evening, the sky was illuminated by the pyromusical show by the Pyrotek company.

The grand finale arrived on Sunday, August 17 with the Nostalgia 90 evening, featuring the greatest hits of the nineties, and the majestic Bolognese-style pyrotechnic battery curated by Pirotecnica Padre Pio, which closed the festivities on the picturesque Lesina waterfront.
