FestivalFlorio

The 2025 edition of FestivalFlorio represented the return of the festival to Favignana after a four-year break, supported by the Municipality of Favignana and the artistic direction of Maestro Giuseppe Scorzelli. In a reduced format, the festival took place on October 10 and 11, 2025, anticipating the full return in 2026.

The festival opened on Friday, October 10, with the literary meeting "Waiting for the Favignana Prize" at the gardens of the Hotel Aegusa, featuring writer Roberto Ippolito. The highlight was held on Saturday, October 11, at the Ex Stabilimento Florio, where, following a tasting of local excellence by Cantine Florio, the 2025 Favignana Journalism Prize was awarded to journalist Mariangela Pira. A relaunch edition that reaffirmed culture as a tool of identity for the Aegadian Islands.
