Festival of the Torta al Testo cooked under the ashes

In 2025, the Festival of the Torta al Testo cooked under the ashes enlivened the hamlet of Sant'Egidio, in Perugia, from August 1 to 10. Under the large marquee in via del Deltapiano, ASD APS Sant'Egidio revived the torta al testo cooked according to tradition under the ashes, accompanied by appetizers, first courses, second courses, wines, cheeses, and typical Umbrian desserts — including torta al testo with Nutella. The evenings were enlivened by live music and dancing, with dinner by mandatory reservation to ensure a table for all participants.
