Festival of the Three Saints (Saints Alfio, Filadelfo, and Cirino)

The 2025 edition of the Festival of the Three Saints in Mirto took place according to tradition on May 9th and 10th. The eve featured the tour of the award-winning Giuseppe Verdi Band, the recitation of the Holy Rosary and vespers in the Church of Sant'Alfio, and the solemn procession of the three saints' relics from the Mother Church.

On the day of the festival, after the symphonic marches performed by the band in Piazza Vittorio Emanuele, Holy Mass was officiated, followed by the procession of the statues of Saints Alfio, Filadelfo, and Cirino. The traditional fair, with its stalls, accompanied the celebrations, confirming the strong bond of the Mirto community, in the Nebrodi mountains of Messina, with its patron saints.
