Edition 2025 — Three Saints Festival

In 2025, the Three Saints Festival once again brought San Fratello to life on May 10th, with the traditional horseback procession to the Sanctuary on Monte Vecchio. Dozens of riders escorted the flower-adorned statue of Saint Filadelfio and the reliquary urn from the Mother Church along the climb to the mountain, in a day of deep devotion and equestrian folklore in the heart of the Messina Nebrodi.

The 2025 edition of the Festival of the Three Holy Martyrs, Alfio, Filadelfio, and Cirino, took place in San Fratello (Messina) on Saturday, May 10, 2025, keeping its traditional structure intact.

After the preparatory triduum and Solemn Vespers, on the morning of May 10th, dozens upon dozens of riders brought to life the characteristic horseback procession that accompanies the statue of Saint Filadelfio from the Mother Church to the Sanctuary of the Three Saints on Monte Vecchio. The processions were animated by the San Benedetto il Moro band, in a day of faith and tradition that drew worshippers and visitors to the Gallo-Italic village of the Nebrodi.
