2025 Edition
The 2025 edition of the Festival of the Madonna dei Miracoli took place in Collesano, in the province of Palermo, from May 25th to 27th. The heart of the festivities was the evocative procession on May 26th: in the late afternoon, devotees carried the painting depicting the Annunciation of Archangel Gabriel on their shoulders along the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the symphonic marches of the brass band.
According to tradition, the fercolo was never placed on the ground during the entire route, not even during prayer stops. The procession returned to the Basilica of San Pietro only late in the evening, offering those present moments of deep popular participation and confirming the strong bond between Collesano and its Patron Saint.
