Edition 2025 — Festival of the Frog

The Festival of the Frog was held in Capanne di Perugia from July 4 to 13, 2025. Ten evenings dedicated to the frog and local specialties, featuring 'umbricelli alla Capannese', fried and stewed frogs, a gluten-free menu, music for dancing, folklore, and popular games for the whole family.

In 2025, the Festival of the Frog and Local Specialties enlivened the hamlet of Capanne, in Perugia, from July 4 to 13. The Pro Loco Capanne offered its usual ten-evening format, with the frog and 'umbricelli alla Capannese' at the heart of the menu, a range of gluten-free options in collaboration with AIC Umbria, and a program that combined music for dancing, folklore, children's activities, and traditional popular games, reaffirming the festival as one of the most beloved summer events in the Perugia area.
