Festival of the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary

On August 22, 2025, Fano Adriano renewed its Marian devotion with the Festival of the Coronation of the Blessed Virgin Mary. The evening began at 9:00 PM with a gathering on the churchyard of the Church of Saints Peter and Paul, from which the torchlight pilgrimage departed towards the Eremo dell'Annunziata, on San Marcello hill at the foot of the Gran Sasso.

The procession, illuminated by torches, reached the ancient sanctuary, where Holy Mass was celebrated. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Fano Adriano, represented one of the most heartfelt moments of the summer in the Teramo village, in the heart of the Gran Sasso and Monti della Laga National Park.
