Edition 2025 — Festival of the Ancient Villages
The first edition of the Festa degli Antichi Borghi, in 2025, enlivened the villages of Traona, Cino, and Cercino on the Costiera dei Cech, attracting over 3500 visitors with historical re-enactments, Celtolimpiadi, excursions, local food festivals, and tastings of typical Valtellina products.
The Festa degli Antichi Borghi debuted in 2025 with great success: over 3500 visitors explored the villages of Traona, Cino, and Cercino, connected by a free shuttle. In Cino, the Celtolimpiadi and pizzoccherata; in the other villages, medieval re-enactments, taverns, ancient crafts, and excursions. A debut that confirmed the potential of an event capable of enhancing the heritage and flavours of the Costiera dei Cech, laying the groundwork for the 2026 edition.
