Edition 2025 — Festival of the Ancient Villages

Prior to the launch of the Festa degli Antichi Borghi, the Costiera dei Cech enlivened the territory of Traona, Cino, and Cercino with initiatives dedicated to traditions, excursions, and typical products of the lower Valtellina, laying the groundwork for the Cech-In project.

The Cech-In project, which in 2026 gave birth to the first edition of the Festa degli Antichi Borghi, was born from the desire to enhance the Costiera dei Cech as a tourist and cultural destination. In the preceding months, the territory of Traona, Cino, and Cercino, in the province of Sondrio, offered initiatives related to local traditions, panoramic walks, and the discovery of typical Valtellina products, building the network of communities and associations that led to the creation of the travelling festival among the three ancient villages of the lower Valtellina.
