Festival of Songs

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Songs was held on June 15 at Poggio Giuliano, in the Campigno area of Marradi (Florence), at the Capanna Dino Campana — a refuge of about 30 sqm equipped with a kitchen, reading corner, and benches, dedicated to welcoming hikers.

The day opened with trekking along the 533A/533 trail from Campigno (about 2 hours, 570m elevation gain), followed by lunch provided by the Gruppo Alpini di Marradi. In the afternoon, there was a poetry reading by the Florentine poet Chiara Rantini, musical accompaniment by the Faenza-based group I Musicanti Improvvisi, and a forest bathing experience in the woods with environmental guide Federico Ghirotti. The edition fell in the year of the 140th anniversary of Dino Campana's birth.
