The 2025 Patronal Festival

The 2025 patronal festival of Castrignano del Capo took place in late September, enlivening the historic center with religious celebrations and civic events organized by the Festival Committee, the Saint Michael the Archangel Parish, and the Municipality. The week of festivities opened with the eighth edition of the Saint Michael Fair, followed by services in honor of the Saints Cosmas and Damian and the patron saint, Saint Michael the Archangel.

On the eve of the festival, after the mass and the procession, the stage hosted the highly anticipated concert by Mietta; the day dedicated to Saint Michael the Archangel featured the 'Città di Lecce' Lyric-Symphonic Orchestra of Salento, conducted by Salvatore Tarantino. Light displays framed the village streets, and fireworks brought the festivities to a beautiful close.
