Cisano Bergamasco celebrates its patron saint
The Festival of Saint Zeno is the event with which Cisano Bergamasco, a town in the Val San Martino in the province of Bergamo, celebrates its patron saint. The occasion, set for April 12th, is a central moment in the town's civil and religious calendar, dedicated to Saint Zeno the Bishop.
Among the events of the 2026 edition, a concert at the Don Renato Mazzoleni Auditorium stands out: a musical performance entrusted to the Calycanthus Choir of Treviglio, in honor of the patron saint. Choral music thus accompanies the festival, offering the community a moment of reflection and beauty, in line with the tradition of patronal feasts in Bergamo.
The patronal feast has always been an opportunity to strengthen the bonds of the Cisano Bergamasco community around its history and roots. Between liturgical celebrations and cultural events, the Saint Zeno occasion renews the town's identity each year, in a corner of the province of Bergamo where religious and popular traditions remain deeply alive.
