Edition 2025 — Festival of Saint Ulpia
The 2025 event
In 2025, the community of Pozzaglia Sabina, in the province of Rieti, gathered around its patron saint according to the usual movable calendar linked to Pentecost, which was celebrated that year on June 8th.
The celebrations followed the traditional pattern: the solemn opening of the urn containing the remains of Saint Ulpia Candidia under the high altar of the parish church of San Nicola di Bari, accompanied by Marian litanies sung by the brass band and the faithful, followed by the Sunday of the main feast with a solemn mass and the procession of the silver icon carried by three women in Roman matron costumes.
The Municipality did not release a detailed chronicle of the edition online; the event remains documented by the institutional profile that describes it as a fixed annual appointment in the life of the village.
