Festival of Saint Paschal Baylon

In 2025, the celebrations in honour of Saint Paschal Baylon in Ostra Vetere took on a special significance: during the Holy Year, the Sanctuary of Santa Croce was designated a Jubilee Church of the Eucharist, a destination for pilgrimages for the entire Diocese of Senigallia.

The mid-May programme re-proposed the established structure of the festival: the blessing of motorcycles, the triduum of prayer with Rosary and evening mass, the solemn Eucharistic celebrations on May 17th, the blessing of children, and the procession with the statue of the saint from the convent to the town centre. Popular events were also present, with the charity raffle, the Saint Paschal Fair, and the concluding fireworks display, testifying to a tradition that continues to unite faith and village festival in the Marche.
