Edition 2025 — Saint Onuphrius

In 2025, Agnone also celebrated Saint Onuphrius with the traditional pilgrimage to Mount Sant'Onofrio. After the descent of the statue on June 9th, on the 11th, the faithful accompanied it back to the summit along over 7 km, with stops and banquets, Mass, fireworks, and a day of singing, dancing, and picnics in the mountains.

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Saint Onuphrius in Agnone confirmed one of the most cherished traditions of Alto Molise. The pilgrimage on June 11th brought the statue of the saint back to the mountain sanctuary, along a path of over 7 km punctuated by traditional stops at contrada Secolare and contrada Porfilio, where locals refreshed the pilgrims. At the summit, Mass and fireworks, followed by a long day of celebration with singing, dancing, and picnics.
