The Bonfire of Saint Anthony
The Festival of Saint Anthony Abbot is an event rooted in the tradition of Casnate con Bernate, a municipality in the Province of Como a few kilometers from the provincial capital. Every year, on January 17th, the day dedicated to the saint, the Pro Loco organizes the traditional bonfire of Saint Anthony, one of the most characteristic winter rites of Lombard popular culture.
