Festival of Popular Narratives

2025 Edition

The third edition of the Festival of Popular Narratives was held from August 14 to 17, 2025, at the Convent of Sant'Antonio in Civitaretenga, a hamlet of Navelli (AQ), starting at 5:30 PM with free admission. Organized by the magazine TerraNullius in collaboration with the Oro Rosso Community Cooperative and under the patronage of the Municipality of Navelli, the edition revolved around the rediscovery of local popular narratives, the eightieth anniversary of the Resistance, and the future of the villages.

The program brought together over thirty guests, including writers Yari Selvetella, Pier Paolo Di Mino, Claudio Morici, Paola Michelini, and Alessandro Chiappanuvoli. Four days full of narrative walks, workshops for children, reading-concerts, poetry slams, drum circles, evening performances, tastings of local products, and new murals, confirming Civitaretenga's vocation as a village of narratives.
