Edition 2025 — Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Camere)

In 2025, the hamlet of Camere in Castelpetroso also celebrated the Festival of Our Lady of Mount Carmel on the third Sunday of July, with religious rites, a procession, and the Gnocchi Festival animating the small community in the Molise hinterland.

The Festival of Our Lady of Mount Carmel is a long-standing tradition in the hamlet of Camere, Castelpetroso, in the province of Isernia. In 2025, the community renewed the festival on the third Sunday of July, with religious celebrations in honour of the Madonna, the procession, and the Gnocchi Festival, dedicated to one of the most beloved dishes of peasant tradition.

The event, part of the hamlet's rich popular devotion, combined faith and conviviality in the heart of the Molise summer.
