Festival of Our Lady of Maestà

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Our Lady of Maestà renewed in Ficulle, in the Province of Terni, an event of deep devotion. On November 21st, the Sanctuary of Maestà was the destination of a day-long pilgrimage, with celebrations that followed one another from the early morning hours until the evening.

The solemn midday mass was followed, in the afternoon, by the rosary and the eucharistic blessing, culminating in the final mass presided over by the Bishop of the Diocese of Orvieto-Todi. In front of the church, as tradition dictates, there were no shortage of roasted chestnuts and new wine, a convivial moment that combines the religious dimension with the popular autumn tradition.
