Festival of Maria SS. delle Grazie

The 2025 edition of the Festival of Maria SS. delle Grazie in Chiaramonte Gulfi, in the province of Ragusa, confirmed the vitality of one of the most deeply rooted Marian devotions in the Iblei Mountains. As per tradition, the Madonna's statue was carried in procession through the streets of the historic center, with houses decorated by the faithful and accompanied by brass bands. The days alternated between moments of prayer, Eucharistic celebrations, and the long-awaited "Cuncursu" ascent, testifying to a deep bond between the town and its patron saint, kept in the Sanctuary near the pine forest.
