Edition 2025 — Festival of the Three Crowns
The 2025 patronal feast
On August 15th, 2025, the community of Sarno, in the province of Salerno, renewed the most heartfelt appointment of its calendar: the feast of Maria Santissima delle Tre Corone, main patron saint of the city since 1779. The celebrations were concentrated in the Sanctuary of Piazza Michelangelo Capua, with holy masses, the solemn liturgy of the Assumption, and the procession of the venerated image through the streets of the historic center, accompanied by the town band.
The 2025 Sarno Summer
The civil part of the feast was part of the 2025 Sarno Summer program, presented to the press by the Municipality in July: a program extended through August and September, with weekly appointments including live concerts, dance shows, theatrical reviews, and cultural initiatives spread throughout the city and its districts.
As every year, the Ferragosto day combined the devotional dimension—the closeness of the faithful to the miraculous painting, the songs, the welcoming of the Madonna upon her return from the procession—with the convivial one, with the center crowded until evening and Sarno families gathered for the occasion.
