About Festival of Kites
The sky is coloring again
The Festival of Kites is one of the most beloved community festivals in the Castelfranco Veneto area, in the province of Treviso. After a seven-year hiatus, it has returned to fill the meadows of Campoverde, in the hamlet of Salvarosa, with colors and social interaction, attracting thousands of visitors including families, children, and residents from neighboring towns.
A day of outdoor activities
The program transforms the fields into a large shared space: kites flying in the sky, creative workshops, climbing activities, the presence of horses, live music, and plenty of space for picnics. An event designed for spending time together outdoors, from morning until late afternoon.
A festival with social value
The event is promoted by L'Incontro Cooperativa Sociale, a local organization active in inclusion, which also celebrates its thirty-five years of activity through this festival. The return of the Festival of Kites has confirmed the strong bond between the cooperative and the community of Castelfranco Veneto.
Festival of Kites — edition 2026
The 2026 edition of the Festival of Kites is scheduled for Sunday, April 12, in the Campoverde grounds, at Via Loreggia di Salvarosa 36, from 9:30 AM to 6:00 PM. In case of bad weather, the festival is postponed to Sunday, April 19.
The day, promoted by L'Incontro Cooperativa Sociale, features kites in the sky, creative workshops, climbing, horses, music, and picnics, and is part of the events celebrating the cooperative's 35 years of activity. The return of the event, after years of pause, attracted over seven thousand people.
