Edition 2025 — Festival of Festivals

The eighth edition of the Festival of Festivals took place in Lucera on September 6 and 7, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM. The historic center hosted a food and wine trail from Piazza Tribunali to Piazza Duomo with twelve stalls dedicated to the typical products of the Monti Dauni. The event, organized by the Pro Loco of Lucera, recorded approximately 20,000 visitors over the two evenings.

Festival of Festivals 2025: The Eighth Edition

The eighth edition of the Festival of Festivals was held in Lucera on September 6 and 7, 2025, starting at 8:00 PM. The historic center came alive with a long culinary trail from Piazza Tribunali to Piazza Duomo, passing through Via Zuppetta and Piazza Nocelli, featuring twelve food stalls dedicated to the specialties of the Monti Dauni and the province of Foggia.

Featured flavors included Lucera's acquasale, scagliozzi, cavatelli, cheeses, cured meats, sweets, and regional wines, alongside excellent products such as prosciutto di Faeto and Lucera olive oil. The evenings were accompanied by live music, folk dance groups, flag-wavers, and street performers.

The 2025 edition was a great success with the public, recording approximately 20,000 visitors over the two days—numbers that, as highlighted by the Pro Loco of Lucera, are comparable to those of the city's patronal feasts, confirming the event's role as a showcase for the gastronomic traditions of Daunia.

Programme

Food and wine trail in the historic center, from Piazza Tribunali to Piazza Duomo (Via Zuppetta and Piazza Nocelli), with twelve stalls featuring typical products from the Monti Dauni: acquasale, scagliozzi, cavatelli, cheeses, cured meats, sweets, and regional wines. Both evenings (Saturday, September 6 and Sunday, September 7) started at 8:00 PM, featuring live music, folk dancing, flag-wavers, and street performers.
