About Festival of Europe

For Europe Day, Montebelluna dedicates two days to music, poetry, and reflection on European values. The Festival of Europe, promoted by the Municipality with the Musikdrama Association, the ApertaMente association, and the MeVe – Veneto Memorial of the Great War, combines experimental music concerts, poetry readings, meetings on Europe, war, and rights, and guided tours. A free cultural event in the heart of the Marca Trevigiana.

Montebelluna Celebrates Europe

The Festival of Europe in Montebelluna, in the province of Treviso, celebrates Europe Day with two days of culture. Promoted by the Municipality of Montebelluna together with the Musikdrama Association, the socio-cultural association ApertaMente, and the MeVe – Veneto Memorial of the Great War, the event offers a program that combines experimental music, poetry, history, and civic reflection.

Music, Poetry, and Rights

The program alternates concerts of experimental and electroacoustic music, poetry readings, meetings on the themes of Europe, war, and rights, and guided tours of the MeVe. A journey that invites the public to reflect on the founding values of the European Union through art and the historical memory of the 20th century, particularly felt in a territory marked by the Great War.

Culture Accessible to All

The events, with free admission, take place between the Auditorium of the Municipal Library and the MeVe. The Festival of Europe confirms Montebelluna's vocation as a cultural hub in the Marca Trevigiana, capable of combining contemporary music, poetry, and civic engagement in a single offering.
