Music, opera and video art between late summer and September in Chioggia
The Festival in Laguna d'Arte is the music and art event that enlivens late summer in Chioggia, a lagoon city in the province of Venice. Organized by the Musica Chioggia Association, the festival offers a calendar between late August and September that ranges from opera to classical music, from jazz to organ, and video art.
The heart of the festival are the Friday concerts, hosted in the most evocative locations in the city: from the opera evening dedicated to Maria Callas to the classical guitar recital, from jazz with cajon to the solemn organ concert in the Church of Santa Caterina. A high-quality program, with free events and others at popular prices.
The festival also includes Bogiaisso, the section dedicated to video art held in the Gardens of Palazzo Grassi (moving to the Auditorium San Nicolò in case of bad weather). An opportunity to discover contemporary artistic languages in a historic and fascinating context. Between classical music and visual art, the Festival in Laguna d'Arte confirms Chioggia as one of the most vibrant cultural hubs on the Venetian coast.
The 2026 edition of the Festival in Laguna d'Arte takes place in Chioggia (VE) from August 26 to September 27. It opens with the Bogiaisso video art section (third edition), in the Gardens of Palazzo Grassi at 8:30 PM. This is followed by the Friday concerts, including an opera evening dedicated to Maria Callas, classical guitar, jazz, and organ, in the city's most evocative locations. Organized by the Musica Chioggia Association.
