Towards the festival's return
In 2025, the Festival della Canzone Friulana was not held: the historic singing competition in the Friulian language, born in 1959, had been inactive for some years. It was precisely during 2025, however, that the relaunch project promoted by Fondazione Friuli and regional institutions took shape.
The preparatory work led to the announcement of the event's return for 2026, with the final scheduled for Piazza Libertà in Udine as part of Friuli Doc, marking the rebirth of an event dear to Friuli's musical identity.
