Edition 2025 — Festival dell'Appennino

In 2025, the Festival dell'Appennino made a stop in Tolentino with its tried-and-tested formula that combines trekking, culture, and folk music. The 16th edition of the festival offered 27 events over six months (from May 4 to October 12, 2025) in 28 municipalities of the central Apennines affected by the 2016 earthquake, across Marche, Abruzzo, Lazio, and Umbria.

The 2025 edition of the Festival dell'Appennino confirmed the event's mission: to bring walking, culture, and music to the villages of the central Apennines to promote their regeneration after the 2016 earthquake. The Tolentino stage, in the province of Macerata, combined a hike in the surrounding nature with a musical moment, following the format that has made the event famous throughout Central Italy.

The 16th edition scheduled 27 events spread over six months and 28 municipalities in four regions, with a rich program of concerts, theater performances, and contemporary circus shows. In 2025, participation in the events was also free, testifying to a project that makes inclusion and connection with the territory its founding values.
