Festival dell'Appennino - Braccano di Matelica Stage

In 2025, the Festival dell'Appennino celebrated its sixteenth edition, with 27 events spread from May to October across 28 municipalities in the four regions of the central Apennines affected by the 2016 earthquake: Marche, Umbria, Lazio, and Abruzzo. A rich program of hikes, concerts, theater performances, and contemporary circus, focused on inclusion and accessible tourism. The program included hikes along nine naturalistic and spiritual itineraries – from the Cammino Francescano della Marca to the Sentiero Italia – with 16 concerts, 7 theater performances, and 6 contemporary circus shows, promoting slow and inclusive tourism, also thanks to the use of Joelettes to make excursions accessible. Among the numerous locations involved, the event confirmed its vocation as a network capable of enhancing the small villages of the central Apennines, including the hamlets in the Matelica area.
