Edition 2025 — Teatro di Poesia Matera
The National Festival of Poetic Theatre debuts in 2026 as the first Italian tour dedicated to the encounter between poetry, theatre, and music, with stops in Rome, L'Aquila, Milan, Matera, and Ragusa. The Matera leg is part of the Fantastico Medioevo Festival.
The National Festival of Poetic Theatre is established as the first travelling festival dedicated to the encounter between poetry, theatre, and music, with a tour in 2026 that crosses Rome, L'Aquila, Milan, Matera, and Ragusa. The Matera leg is linked to the Fantastico Medioevo Festival and the historic heritage of the City of the Sassi, featuring a choral performance conceived around oral tradition and contemporary writing.
