Edition 2025 — Festival del Medioevo

The eleventh edition of the Festival del Medioevo took place in Gubbio in September 2025, confirming the five-day format of conferences, author talks, exhibitions, markets, and reenactments. About a hundred scholars and disseminators animated the historic center of Gubbio with a program dedicated to medieval history and culture.

In September 2025, the Festival del Medioevo brought its eleventh edition to Gubbio, reaffirming the city's role as the Italian capital of medieval dissemination. For five days, the historic center hosted dozens of conferences with medievalists, art historians, and writers, alongside the now traditional Author Evenings, the Medieval Book Fair, and the miniature workshops of Scriptoria.

Exhibitions, themed markets, and shows completed a lineup that managed to combine scientific rigor with a popular appeal, welcomed by a large audience from all over Italy. The edition represented the consolidation of an event that, in just a few years, has become a benchmark for enthusiasts and scholars.
